Welcome to Ousley Home Inspections LLC. We provide professional home inspection services in the Kansas City, Missouri area. By scheduling an inspection with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Services Provided
We offer comprehensive residential home inspections, including specialized testing for Radon Gas, Sewer Scope evaluations, and Termite (WDI) inspections. All inspections are performed in accordance with the InterNACHI Standards of Practice.
2. Scheduling and Access
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the property is accessible at the scheduled time. This includes ensuring utilities (water, gas, electricity) are turned on and pilot lights are lit. If access is restricted, a re-inspection fee may apply.
3. Scope and Limitations
Our inspections are limited, non-invasive, and visual evaluations of the home's readily accessible systems and components. We do not move furniture, pull up carpets, or dismantle equipment. An inspection is not a guarantee or warranty of the property's condition or its future performance.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are encouraged to attend the inspection to discuss findings in real-time. Clients must read the full inspection report and notify us of any questions or concerns immediately upon receipt of the document.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are determined based on the size, age, and location of the property. Payment is due at or before the time of inspection. Reports will not be released until payment is received in full.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the inspection fee paid. We are not liable for any consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any repairs or replacements required after the inspection.
7. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising from our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri.
